Welcome to The Mugwort Collective
The Mugwort Collective is a community space for women who want to come home to themselves.
Founded by Grace and Felicity — two acupuncturists and women's health practitioners — we run a low-cost acupuncture clinic in Hampstead, making Five Element acupuncture accessible to those who might not otherwise be able to reach it. We believe this medicine belongs to everyone.
Alongside our clinic, we host women's workshops rooted in the ancient wisdom of plants, the menstrual cycle and community. Together we explore how to chart the menstrual cycle — learning to read the body's own rhythms and reconnect with the intelligence of the womb. We practice Qi Gong and plant spirit meditations, and gather in circle to share knowledge, stories and the kind of deep nourishment that only comes from being in community with other women.
We take our name from Artemisia vulgaris — mugwort — a plant with prehistoric healing. Used by our ancestors for thousands of years, mugwort has been burned as moxa to warm and strengthen the body, taken to regulate the menstrual cycle, and slept with to invite lucid dreaming and expanded states of awareness.
The Mugwort Collective exists because we believe women are more vital, more creative and more themselves when they understand their own bodies — and when they are held by other women who do too. This is a space to learn, to make, to move, to heal and to remember the wisdom that has always been within you.
Come and find us in Hampstead. All are welcome.
