Grace Eden

I trained under Gerad Kite at The Yellow Path School of Acupuncture.

What draws me to this style of acupuncture is its extraordinary depth and dynamism. There are over 300 acupuncture points on the body, each with around three different functions. This means no two treatments are ever the same — every session is uniquely crafted for the individual in front of me, not a condition on a page.

Five Element Acupuncture treats the root cause of imbalance rather than the symptom alone. I had a patient with debilitating sciatica who left pain-free after needling her feet rather than the localised area. Another came to me with chronic vertigo — by needling close to the ear, she has never experienced it since.

The needles are not left in — we move dynamically between pulses, needles, moxibustion and tuning fork therapy, working with around five different points on both sides of the body.

Five Element Acupuncture diagnoses through the lens of nature — the five elements of Water, Fire, Earth, Metal and Wood. Each element is associated with two organs in the body, which means we are always treating the whole person: body, mind and spirit. Growing up surrounded by animals, the sea and the natural world — and spending years as a surfer — I have always felt most at home in nature. Being able to translate that deep love of the natural world into the way I understand and treat my patients feels like a great gift.

I have had the privilege of practising around the world— on a small island off the coast of Kenya, in South Africa, and now across clinics throughout London. Wherever I work, my intention is the same: to make people feel genuinely held, and to help them rediscover their own capacity to heal.

I offer community clinics so that acupuncture is accessible to those who cannot afford full-price treatment. Please use the contact form below to enquire about these options — I believe this medicine should be available to everyone.
